This is probably one of the oldest apps I have since I started using facebook when I was in middle school. I don't remember if the app came out that early, but I still think it's probably my oldest app. I sparingly use it today. I mostly use it to watch viral videos, but before I would use it to communicate with friends, post pictures, and look up people's birthday. I actually kind of miss MySpace because you could get really creative with it. With Facebook, it's more professional and there's not much you could change about your page compared to MySpace.

I've been using Instagram since I was a sophomore in high school, so around 5 years. I thought it was a cool app to edit pictures and share with close friends at first, but I never knew it would become such a huge thing! Even today, it's still used a lot. It's amazing how many people can do their business off this app, whether it be photography, modeling, etc. There's so many possibilities! The app has come a far way since it started and although the owners were kind of shady when they released the video and stories features, I still love the app and still use it today.

Candy Crush
I'm sure most of us has played this game or at least knows someone who has played this game before. You combine candies to create power up ones and try to complete whatever mission it is for that level. Some levels have you get certain candies, some make you get rid of cherries and nut things (I think they're nuts). It's hard to explain but it was addicting! I keep the game for whenever I'm extremely bored and just feel like leveling up.

Choices
I just added this game last week and it's pretty similar to the game, Episode. You choose a story you'd like to play such as mystery, romance, etc. The story I'm doing now is a detective one and the game alternates you between characters and you have to choose correct answers to get extra points and continue the game. I like this game because each choice leads somewhere else, whereas some other games purposely lead you toward one direction.

2048
This is another game I haven't played for a while but I keep it on my phone just because. The game starts with a few blocks with numbers on them, usually a 2 or 4. You have to combine them to create higher numbers. Only 2 and 2 can combine, 4 and 4, 8 and 8, etc. The object of the game is to get a high block number and it ends when the blocks take up the whole screen. It was pretty addicting at first, but now I just play it whenever I feel like trying to beat my old score.

Clash Royale
I don't play this game often anymore but I used to play it every minute of the day when it first came out. You collect cards that have different skills and you can power them up. You go into battles with other players to win crowns and level up. You can create your own decks which holds up to 8 cards each, but during battle only 4 are shown until you play a card then the next will appear. It's a really fun game until you start losing 2 games..then 3, then 4, until you finally give up. I call it stress losing. I always think the next game I'll win, but I'm really just stuck on a losing streak.
Episode
I don't actually play this game anymore but I've kept it on my phone just because if I ever do decide to play again, my data won't be erased. You choose a storyline you want to play and there are lots to choose from. I think this game is intended for girls though since all the stories I've played have been girls. Whichever story you choose, you can choose what you want your character to do. (Ultimately I think the story ends up the same either way you choose) But it's still interesting because it's like watching a mini show but you get to interact with it.

Throwdown
I got this app about three weeks ago because a friend recommended it to me. The characters in the game are ones on television shows from adult swim. You battle the computer or other players with cards. Each card is different and can either be characters or objects. Certain ones have special moves and you can combine cards to create better ones. I've reached level 9 so far and there's still a lot more combinations and cards to discover so I may be playing for a while.

Pokemon GO
I'm sure 90% of us have played Pokemon Go, or at least tried it. I don't play it as often anymore, but when it first came out it was a really fun game. If you don't know what it is, it's basically a game where you catch Pokemon and you have to physically move around to find them. You can also battle gyms to level up faster. It was insane how many people would be walking around the aquarium and Kakaako area when the game first came out. I'm not sure how much I will be playing anymore, but I will most likely start playing more often when the next set of Pokemon come out.

Wordalot
About a month ago I downloaded an app called Wordalot. I'm not sure how I came across it, but I'm glad I did because I play it every single day. The game is like those crossword puzzles you find in newspapers but it gives you a picture instead. There can be a picture of a sunset with the ocean, birds, sand, people, etc and you have to fill in the spaces where the blocks are. It's easier than the original crossword puzzle, but sometimes they'll use different words you may not be used to. There can be a hat in a picture, so you would think hat! But sometimes they'll be specific and use bigger words to make it harder. I'm currently in the "Smart" pack, but there's still a lot more to go. http://wordalot.info
